I know you're not allowed to go in the crease, but I see people doing air gaits and jumping over the crease and scoring from the back/side of the net.
Is the rule that your feet can't be in the crease, or what?

I think it is. I think the rule is you can't intentionally jump in or across the crease

The "air gait" specifically refers to the time when a player dives into the crease while shooting. Under the old rules, as long as the ball was in the net before he hit the ground, the goal was allowed. Now, if you dive (leave your feet deliberately) into the crease, the goal is waved off regardless of the sequence. If you dive across the crease, without ever touching anything in it, you're fine.

Most leagues it is not allowed. Some leagues it is still ok, but about 95% probably bar it.
