Michael Pohle, a fifth-year student about ready to graduate, was reportedly one of the 32 killed in the recent tragic shootings on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. He was on Tech's MCLA (then MDIA) team's lacrosse roster for 2005-2006.
Pohle was a biological sciences major from Hunterdon Central High School in New Jersey, where he played both lacrosse and football and graduated in 2002. One web site reported that he "had a bunch of job interviews and was all set to start" his life after college. He was described as a "one of the nicest, most easygoing kids" and a "class act."
