I searched the board and couldn't find anything on this...
Are referees allowed to check the same person's same stick more than once in a game? Or even if they switch sticks can they check it again?
I was hit twice during the random stick checks (same stick and it was legal both times), I just thought it was really weird and was wondering what the ruling is on this or if there even is one...

We can certainly check you more than once in a game, and that often happens with the new NCAA mechanic for stick checks. It makes no sense to tell a player he's immune from checks once he'd been checked; that would just be an invitation to go get the illegal stick out of the bag!
When we only checked two players per team per game, we wrote down the numbers to make sure we didn't get the same guy twice, but now we don't.
