I was at some sort-outs for my bantam box lacrosse and a kid was using a guru on a brine wood shaft and the coaches didnt even say anything, i thought it was illegal but i guess in my league they lare letting it go, unless its legal for most people and i just havent heard.

maybe he knew he already made it, and just felt like fooling around? i dont know, just i guess. i really doubt they would be game-legal though...what league is this, gloucester?

looks like nepean.

the guru is illegal, he probably got away with it because most coaches dont know what sticks or even equipment is legal and illegal.

what's wrong with the prongs (I like my guru because of them!)

They can cause harm... there sharp teeth.

Technically without the prongs its a legal head... but the thing will break after 1 game. So why use t?

cause its ridiculously tiny. if you maybe filed off the prongs, and dyed it so its wasnt purple, it would be a pretty sick head.

but their made out of weak plastic. so if you buy 12 they'll last you a year or you could buy an answer pinch it and have it for 2 maybe 3 years.

It's not approved by the CLA.

Do you figure that there is a distinct advantage to playing with a Guru? Have you ever seen a Junior, Senior or Pro Player play with one? I'm a fan of playing with whatever you're comfortable with. But to play the game of lacrosse with a backyard kids toy is like playing hockey with a floor hockey stick. You wont gain an edge. It's not built to take the punnishment that you will need it to.
