alright soooo i played lacrosse in junior high gym class and fell in love with it. never really decided to do anything about it until yesterday, when i got my first lax stick. (debeer oahu apex) i practiced throwing it against the wall. i'm in my freshman year of college and i really want to play for the club team at the college i'm transferring to next year. you don't need any experience or anything, but i still don't want to look like an idiot on the field. so, i have a few questions to prevent me from looking stupid.

1. cradling. i've been trying to look it up on youtube and ifilm and i can't find anything. there have been countless explanations for it, but i'm more of a visual learner. sooo if anyone could explain how to do it without getting to complicated, that would be fantastic.
2. what are some drills i can do by myself? being new to the lax community, i don't have any friends that play, so therefore no one to practice with. if there are any drills or practice methods to kickstart my game (and eventually better it) that would be a great help.
3. i'm really confused as to which position i should play. i've been in track and field all four years and was a middle distance/hurdler (so quarter miles and down) and i was wondering which position i would be best at. i'm not very big but i'm pretty strong. if not of that information helps, i apologize.

soo i think that's it. i'm sure there have been a million and one posts similar to mine, and i'm sorry. any advice would be helpful even if it wasn't mentioned in the post. thanks a mill!

one thing to do a lot of is to play wallball. try to use both hands, because that will help a lot when playing a game, and it is just good to know how to play both ways. also, to figure out cradling, go to interlax.com and register, because there are a lot of helpfull videos for figuring out almost all stick skills. position wise, you would probably be best at attack wing or home. you could probably play center too, but learning the draw would just add more complications, even though it isnt too hard.

Do tons of ball drills off of a wall. They work wonders.

Wall ball, go running with your stick while cradling, throw balls out in front of you and do groundballs.

luvnlax17- interlax costs money, doesn't it?
My mom won't let me get it, she thinks it is some kind of scam. :(
