I was wondering what everyone's reactions were to new new Mesh Megathread. I thought I'd post it here, in the SDL, to get the opinions of those who visit this part of the forums regularly.
Is it wrong to remove the C+C aspect always associated with TLF? Is this forum turning in a Webshots album with the new rules?
I personally dont agree with this new rule. Countless players have improved their pockets, simple or complex, through the C+C provided by the members of these forums. I dont think that should be taken away.
What are your opinions?

I hate it, I didnt even know about it until this morning, AFTER I posted my mesh thread and someone told me about the sticky. I am still a beginner string (only like 7 or 8 stringings) so C+C is good for me and no one is going to send you a PM to say "Nice pocket" or "A little too shallow for my liking"

I think that it should be kept, but people should still e allowed to post mesh.
If you know that you string job is good, and don't need any response for it, then you can just put it in the mesh megathread.
But, if you are new to stringing or whatever, and you are looking for critisism or help, you should be able to make your own thread so that other members can help you out.

"I don't like it" is an understatement.

I appreciate your sentiments and this was already discussed at length in the thread established by zanderaruba.
I do not feel that another thread is needed in the matter.

That is exactly what it is for. It was stated that if you are a new/newer stringer and still need help then it was completely fine on making a thread. It is for all you "mesh masters", you "veterans", that can and will post it in the Mesh Megathread. We already know that most of you kiddies don't like it so I am closing this thread.
