Is there a way to get leather to become hard or a special place to order them, with my leathers i ordered from jima a while back, they were floppy and move around easily making it hard to form a good pocket. When i ordered a rock-it pocket from rock-itpocket.com the leathers were very hard and stayed in the same postion, i want leathers like that... please help

the leathers from RP are hard and stay in the same spot due to the RP knots not because of the leathers

im almost positive they are a different type then jima, or they do something special with them

I'm pretty sure its all based on the pocket. If your knots are tight and you have a lot of string, it'll make a hard pocket. If you string something like a pita with just traditional knots, the leathers will be loose. At least that's what I think, I don't know about doing something to the leathers to make them hard.
