looks good. does anyone know of a tutorial (i searched) or a site that teaches you how to do a fade? no matter how hard I try it never comes out right.

I am anxious to see this one with strings.
Can you please clue us in on how you got the fade part so nice? My fade attempts always end up with lines between the colors... How did you do it??

I have (3) and love them all. Its a nice head for the price. Pinch it and it is amazing.

Fades really aren't very difficult. I'm surprised that you are coming out with poor results. All I do is I hold the head, and slowly dip it into the dye. Each dip I drop the had more and more shallow into the dye. The bottom part where its darkest needs to be in alot, but the fade part, barely be in the dye, only a couple of dips, with the lightest section, maybe only even put it in for one.
