Just thought i'd post a picture of what im using right now... I tried to attach the bottom of the mesh to the head, but I didn't like the way it threw unless the bottom string was really loose, so i decided to keep it loose and just try a saddle so the ball didn't go through. The saddle I kind of just did, I didn't really even think of the RP. I'm not sure if thats how they do them and I don't really care that much, because this way works pretty well for me. Criticism welcome.

i really like that, i think its one of the better goalie pockets i have seen in a while, i don't really see any purpose in the saddle with a mesh pocket but it looks sexy non the less and I'm not sure if this thread will be closed or not because its a mesh pocket, but its in a goalie stick, but i love it anyway, hows it throw?

I'm pretty sure it won't be closed, the mods just dont want veteran stringers posting there flawless mesh string jobs in separate threads.

is it me, or in the pic that shows the saddle the runner string on the left looks broken.

Your runners are really loose, but it does look pretty sexy. 3 V's are a bit overkill though.

Yeah one runner was fraying at the bottom, and one of the strings going between the sidewall and the mesh broke and i had to tie it off short. I took this picture right before I unstrung and restrung with open sidewall 14D.
It threw really nice, and the 3 V's are only there because I had extra shooters, and if i didn't put them on a stick I knew i'd lose them.

Is it just me or does it seem like every goalie uses a Eclipse, our Varsity goalie uses one, our JV goalie uses one, I'm pretty sure our freshman goalie uses one, you use one, a ton of other goalies on TLF use them too.

Thats because the Eclipse pwns other goalie heads, plain and simple.
