k so my coach just nominated me for the national tournamnet team tryouts and i know people who have tried out before but they said it was really political like based on school. i only know one girl who actually got on it and she was on team 8 of 9 teams. i dont expect to make any of the teams but i was wondering if anyone knew what to expect. im in the mid atlantic chapter. . .

*sigh* i wish the govening body of michigan high school athletics would let amend some of their rediculous rules so that the michigan girls could try out for the great lakes team...

school girls tryout were this weekend how did you do? it was about 80 degrees and about our entire team that was reccomended showed up to school resembling tomatos..getting ready for summer tourements in maryland:)

I did hear that girls from the stronger schools tend to be placed on the better teams...but as they say making any team is an honor...as lilax said it's a blast, especially when u win it all ;).....it's just so cool to see so many people playing lacrosse at one place...our tryouts are this weekend....and I do feel for the Michigan girls they need to lobby their HS Association this is a huge missed opportunity.....we went through it couple of years ago and a rule was amended just for girl's lacrosse....but other tournaments are prohibited during season.....
