I just got an Brine F-10 power grip but its a D-Pole and I play midfield so I wanted to know where I should cut the shaft so that it would be a legal shaft to use?

How far down the shaft should I cut it?

measure out exactly 30 inches and you can have two shafts. but make sure its exact or you will only have one legal shaft. remember: measure twice cut once

BLUF: a legal M/A (short crosse) when fully assembled can be a minimum of 40 inches and a maximum of 42 inches in length. This measurement includes the shaft plus: crosse head, end cap and any tape you may use on the end cap.

A legal (long crosse) when fully assembled can be a minimum of 52 inches and a maximum of 72 inches in length.

Measure well.....

I just did this a couple of days ago with my Titan D pole. All you need to do is measure out 30 inches. DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT IS. Because if you 1/4 of an inch of, you still have one illegal shaft

You can always take an end cap and not put it all the way on, then tape it down, if you're a fraction of an inch short. Remember, the refs don't mesaure the shaft, they measure the entire stick.
You might want to put the D shaft on the head, measure out to 40" and make a mark and see if it will give you two shafts.
Make sure youor stick is legal though - the last thing you want to do is get on Coach Grady's bad side with a 3 min NR!

What is the length of a short stick without a head?
It also depends on the particular head.

25 is correct. Just screw the d-pole shaft into the head you're using, then measure from the top of the head down 40-41 inches and make a mark for where to cut.

Cut at the mark.
