View Full Version : difference between these two shafts?
Hi I'm fairly new to lacrosse but I would like to know whats the difference between a Warrior Alloy 2000 and a Warrior Alloy 6000? is the 6000 a better version or just the same as the 2000?
Thanks

both are the same, except for maybe some shape difference.

the 6000 is a better shaft because it is stronger. It can withstand 6000 PSI compared to 2000 PSI. ( correct me if I'm wrong.)
Maybe not after seeing MACDADDY's post...

Im not positive but they should be the shaft material (alumminum) with a different logo

actually, the alloy 2000 is 2000 series aluminum, whereas the alloy 6000 is 6500 series aluminum
the difference is actually very minuscule, but hey, big numbers mean big things, don't they?

Does Warrior make a 6000 series shaft? i know they make the 2000 because theres one sitting in the corner of the room. I thought Brine (Throttle, Ripper, Rocket), STX(AL6000+PRO), and Gait(ST6000) made the 6000 series. but they are pretty much the same from company to company but i have seen that the Throttle seems to be the strongest of all of the "cheap" alloy shafts
