I was going to start saving up for a new-er backup stick. One of my ideas for a shaft was going to be the brine ignite. To me it seems to be light, not that expensive, but I wanted to know it's strength?

How strong is it?

well ill first start off by saying i have broken one, and i would not get one
it also depends how old are you? if you are older than 12, i would buy sometihng like a kryptolite b/c ignites suck.

not to great on the durability factor. if you save up a little more you could get an ignite optra (not the HD one) it has scandium in it. its a good all around shaft

Broke one over my knee, good thing I got it for free.
Absolute POS. Dents, bends, chips and flakes like nobodys business. Save your money and buy something that doesent suck cajones, maybe a Klyte or 803.

True story:

I have had one since they came out. Last weekend, I got so fed up about how I was shooting that day, I tried to break it over my knee and it actually broke. It was the coolest, and second most painful experience of my life. Overall, pretty weak, but also pretty light for the price.

Mine was fantastic, I'd say its strength rivals that of a R705 or Fatboy.

they snap like twigs go for a platinum or klyte in terms of cheap yet durable shafts
