K18 BALLS

On insidelacrosse.tv there is a video with Kyle Harrison shooting outside, he is using black lacrose balls!!! he says they are the new line of k18 balls, i was wondering if anyone has seen them yet or knows where to get their hands on them???

i have tried that,they turn out a nice shade of charcoal gray.... and i left it in there for 3 days

Would spray painting the ball black work? maybe a coat of laquer after the paint would prevent chipping or wear.

I was looking at the archives and I saw that they managed to find a video of the one team we have lost to in our 12-1 record this season... Hoover. Yes, that is the same Hoover on "two-a-days" and it shouldn't be a suprise that the only people on thier team who play lax are football players... only football players.

You guys don't really need to go that far out of your way to change the color of the ball. What's wrong with white? I agree the black do look cool because they are different but it doesn't seem necessary to like dye or color white ones. I'm sure they'll be available for sale soon.

Eh, I'll stick to bright pink and yellow. Those seem to stick out the best on the woods behind my goal, and I don't see black sticking out too well.

I agree with pink sticking out but for whatever reason I can never find the yellow ones. once they get into a bush they somehow blend in with the surrounding foliage. thats why i stick to orange and pink.

Oh, and i doubt I will but K18 balls because I bet anything they will be more expensive than plain old lax balls.

We have a black ball in our ball bag at school..ive never really looked at it..but maybe its a K18 one? and pink balls are the best..

Although I'm usually a huge nazi about people using pointless pieces of equipment that look cool...

Those black balls with the gold lettering do look cool. They're a lot sleeker looking than the pink or other popular colors, and the gold lettering makes it look classy. Plus, it's just a ball-3 or 4 bucks for one cool ball isn't a terrible thing (unless they charge 7-8 bucks apiece for them). This probably reflects my respect for Harrison as a really humble, classy, well-spoken guy as an ambassador for the lacrosse game.

I go out to my backyard but other kids I know go to a nearby parkng lot that never has any cars in it. Maybe even check out your school.

Weave tape on a chain link fence, or tape up a school wall if you don't have a net. Paul and Gary Gait just taped up a school wall when they were kids and played 4 on 4.

STX hasn't released the K18 balls yet - I'm waiting on an answer from our rep . . .
