You know what a db803 is? Because it's basically the same thing except the texture.

yeah its the db803 shaft but with a different grip..I have one..its one of the lightest if not the lighthest shaft on the market..plus its very durable for its weight..overall its a great shaft.

lol I've never heard of a Kryton, if you mean kryptolyte or Kpro then weight wise no it's not "better", and if the 803 if cheaper I'd just get that they're the same thing except grip and cosmetics
