So I am getting a new helmet because I don't want to buy the cpx's my school provides us with and it looks like I am going to be playing goalie. I was wondering in what players opinions what helmet has the best sight lines and such. According to a great Atlantic video the triumph has the best in the game but I found that hard to believe because of my CPX.

So if anyone has experience with both could you let me know?

dude are you gunna be selling all your a/m sticks? cus id like to get my hands on the sc+ti haha but on a serious note, ive heard great things about the cpx titaniums which might be nessecary for goalie, because you will take shots to the face

alot of people have said that the triumph site lines are better, but ive never tried one on due to my head size (L/XL cpro).

I have a triumph. The vision is amazing. I have tried out a a cpx (after buying my triumph) and the triumph vision is hands down better.

the gait helmet has the best sight in the game, supposedly.

Yeah but I could never put one of those on my head. They look so cheap and ugly.

i've used the triumph, and own a cpro, and have used both a cpx and a cpx ti
the triumph does have good vision, but the difference isn't enough to warrant not getting a cpx imho
the comfort of the cpx is insane, as well as the protection
depending on your level of play i would strongly suggest the cpx ti because of the shots.
last week i got a shot that hit the side of my facemask from the front and it put a very small bend in the cage of my cpro, makes me wonder if i should get a cpx ti before it bends anymore just to be safe.
a kid on my team has already broken 2 triumphs and finally got a refund for a cpx
they both cracked on the side by the earpiece, one of them more or less exploded, which makes me wary of a goalie wearing it especially.

Yeah any kind of cracking on a helmet worries me. And with brines shotty record on helmets already I guess I should just go with the CPX. I don't think I will get titanium just because I can't really afford it. Although it would be nice to be on the safe side I just don't think I can fund it.

yea they obviously aren't cheap, but i'd still take a cpx over the triumph
hell i'd take my cpro over the triumph
i'd rather keep my ears k thx gg no re

Go to ACC closeouts and get a CPX Ti, it will be worth it for goalie. My CPX chrome is holding up nicely with only moderate cage flaring, but our other goalies reg. CPX has two of the horizantal bars bent inwards, and the cage has flared at least an inch on each side. A CPX Ti would be a good investment for goal, im kind of regretting not getting one.

yea, my cpro is 3 years old, not flaring much but it has the bend
i think i'll get a cpx ti soon and bring it to college with me
(the school im going to doesn't have a team, but a club league so it'll be perfect)
