Even though Lizards are my least fav team I wanted them to win 1. I picked them 2. Don't like repeating Champions 3. Baltimore is #1 rival to Rochester.

That game was amazing. They were straight up killing each other. Some things I saw:

1. Further proof that Millon can be shutdown by a strong D-player with the way Baltimore currently runs their offense.

2. Doc is now my favorite player, that cat is just hilarious.

3. Dirty or not, Jalbert can play and LI owes much success this year to him. 105 ground balls is nothing to sneeze at. And he couldn't have scooped a bigger one then tonite in OT.

4. Quint needs to use the offseason to come up with some new nicknames for a hard shot. "laser, dart, frozen rope, and missile" should all be banned words. He's like a thesauraus, why use 1 adjective when 89203752938 will suffice.

5. Dave Morrow looks like an aging hippie.

All in al, I really enjoyed watching MLL this year, first year I've gotten to watch any. I also went to 1 game in person. I'm really looking forward to the college season, I hope I'll be able to follow it more closely and next year's MLL. And I might even follow NLL too, in the meantime. :-)

I'm not sure who covered Millon but they should get just as much credit as Doc and Jalbert. They would not have won if Millon scored more.

Gags did. Millon was in a lot of pain before the game and said that he wanted to act as a feeder instead of a shooter most of the game. Not sure if I believe that, but that's what he said.

Millon has been shut down by solid defenders all year long, it's not an anomaly. Polanco, Curtis, and Gags spring to mind.

I was half asleep and i never watch the mll so what team was hanford on the guy with the pink stick. He was great. The goalie would save the ball and it would rebound then he would scoop it up and charge down the field feed it to someone theyd take a shot and score. Also the goalies did a great job

Gags is possible the best long pole for all three years in the MLL, love that guy ( even if he plays fot L.I.)

For Rochester we need a defender to step up and play Millon like Gags did. If Rochester could limit Millon to 3 or less points they would win most games against Baltimore.

Yes, defender with a short pole, the guy with the pink head is Jaime Hanford

Why did Jalbert get the League MVP? Millon, and C.Powell did much more for their team than Jalbert did, plus didn't cheap shot people all the time.

Did Millon and Powell have 105 GB's and a 41% shot percentage? Of corse Powell and Millon are going to score more there attack, but Jalbert lead middies in points and goals. He deserved it (yes even if he gets a little cheap sometimes, it happens in all sports.)

It doesn't matter how many gbs you have, it is how you support your yeam. I do not agree with this award. Its time casey gets what he deservees. He's led the MLL in points 2 years in a row.

Obviously points is not the sole criteria used in selecting MVP. But you feel ground balls don't matter at all. If you cats were going to create a formula for picking MVP, what would you rate higher than other factors? I guess some factors could include:

goals scored
assists
total points
penalty minutes
ground balls
team wins
team losses
team points scored
team points against

i couldn't disagree more. more often than not, the team with the most groundballs wins the game.

on top of that, he got alot of GB's that were not off Face-offs, which is how alot of other players stack up good GB numbers. So jalbert is providing/keeping 10 poesessions a game for his team. As well as #goals a game. He is the rightful MVP.
