im doing this project for school where i have to write stuff in blue sharpie. well i left it open on my desk right next to my mesh. the marker wrote on the mesh a tiny bit, only around half a diamond. will this mesh still be legal or will i have a fun night coloring in my mesh? (i kno the rule where mesh can only be one color)

I doubt a little bit of discoloration will do much. And even if it is technically illegal, I doubt the ref will call it. I don't see the advantage in the tiny blue spot.

if its just a spot, you probably wont get called. technically it is illegal. i'd show it to refs before games and see what they say. you might have to use your backup stick if a ref is a real stickler for the rules.

have you tried rubbing alcohol? thats pretty good at getting rid of indelible ink marker. it probably wont make it go away entirely, but will fade it quite a bit, you will have to use some elbow grease to make that work

you could also put some white paint on the spot as well.

The rule you are asking about would really only come in to play if the discoloration was designed in way that is intended to make it look like you have possession of the ball when you actually don't. I wouldn't worry too much but if it is the type of thing where your mesh is starting to become two colors then you do have a problem. Just dip it in a mud puddle, that should solve any minor issues.

Use toothpaste. Will take that right out.
