so i had heard about robert plant from led zeppelin selling his soul to the devil for stairway to heaven and i didnt believe it. i found this and the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up, i just had a creepy feeling. check this out.

creepy, there was one like that on ebaums world but in the reverse it had a screaming face.... i was paralyzed the first time i saw it

Anyways, listen to it backwards without reading what it supposedly says, chances are you won't be able to understand it. It's a pretty big stretch.

actually a friend of mine showed me and just played it with me listening...not that much of a stretch, a couple of words i missed but not much.
i was just kidding about the flame but whatever

Have you heard about the pink floyd one. They were murmuring in some song during a solo and If you play it backwards it says," Congratulations you have discovered the subliminal message. Plase send a letter to ___________ _________ London England."

My favorite hi-fi component of all time is the truly great AR turntable (http://images.google.com/images?gbv=1&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=+site:www.radiolaguy.com+ar+turntable). Possibly its most unusual attribute is its ability to run backwards, which it does without complaint. It seems not to hurt it at all to do that, nor do records suffer, I guess as long as you don't do it all the time. At any rate....
I have listened to the passage in "Stairway to Heaven" - "if there's a bustle in your hedgerow" - played backwards. You have to suspend disbelief to interpret it, backwards, as "here's to my sweet Satan."
I'm not buying it.

the thing about it is it talks about going to heaven, but backwards its the opposite. the last line "There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad Satan." is definately clear. when a buddy of mine only let me listen to the song and not read the lyrics i could totally pick out that line word for word.

they say nerrow was the devil because if you take the numbers of the letters in the alphabit and add them or multiply them (i forgot which one) but it ends up being the number 666

we did this in psych 101 last year
out of a class of like 400 no one could make out what was said when it was played backwards with out the words
its your brain telling you what your hearing
this isn't actually anything being said
just a trick of your brain, like the 3d images things

We actually learned about backmasking and subliminal messages in music the other day, stairway of heaven has other verses with baskmasking in it also. as a side note, Riot the video with the guy in your avatar is amazing.

pink floyd's dark side of the moon is in sync with the wizard of oz. we watched it in a film class i took last semester. its a pretty cool coincidence.
