Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell v. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
Could be a little early to talk about this one but im sooo torn over the main event and i dont know who to go for....

Liddell has been a good and dominating champ, so exciting to watch cuz he will keep the fight standing and go for the KO

But Rampage is a beast also, with his wrestling background and who doesnt like him, he brings character to the UFC
should be a good fight

who you guys got.....
and tell me u watch the UFC

That was under PRIDE rules, and Liddell hadn't emerged as the prominent star he is now (he was probably one of the top 10 LHW's in the world back then, and now he's the unanimous #1). And Liddell has avenged his other two losses to opponents in devastating fashion (humiliated Jeremy Horn, KO'd Couture twice).

Still, with that said, I'm undecided at this point. This has been the year of the upset for MMA, and I don't think Liddell's any better to stop that trend. I DON'T like the way Jackson fought against Eastman in his UFC debut-Eastman, a far inferior fighter, held his own until he gassed. Yet on the other hand, Liddell is coming off a torn MCL, a very lengthy layoff (compared to his normal intervals), and he's simply getting old.

Jackson is more dangerous toe to toe than randy or tito......hes also freakishly strong and a hell of a wrestler.....rampage also beat chucks *** in their first meeting....but chuck has improved since then and is on a roll.....whoever wins, its gonna be an upset. if chuck wins, he will have beaten a great fighter who kicked his *** in their first meeting.....if rampage wins, he will have beaten "the great Chuck Liddell" for the LHW title.....im pullin for rampage.....hes tight.......chucks fights may be exciting, but hes not an exciting person.....rampage is both

Purely based on entertainment value, I gotta go with Jackson. If for no other reason than for his personality and pre/post fight interviews/antics. Liddell is a great fighter, but I'm tired of seeing every one of his fights stay on the feet and have him just stand there and walk away from a fighter on the ground. It's MMA, lets act like it. I'll comment a bit more on the card when it gets closer to fight night.

I'm pulling for chuck. I really have been watching UFC just because of him, and this summer I am planning on getting into it myself. Jackson seems too cocky for me. I watched parts of that show last night, and I wasn't really liking his attitude. Liddell just comes in, beats you and leaves, no talking or anything.

It will be 45 minutes to an hour probably before it's over. There's 9 fights plus a preliminary so it's a huge card and we got rid of our digital cable boxes last month so lucky me, I get to just sit here and refresh pages every couple of minutes to see what happened.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! QUINTON JACKSON TAKES OUT THE ICEMAN IN LIKE 3 SHOTS!!!!!!!! Not even joking, incredible. Now hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of rampage and i think he will also be squared away with plenty of "cheddar" for a while now as well.

That was such a ridiculous fight. I think Chuck just came in scared, and that's why he lost.

Secondly, I'm going to Home Depot to get myself a Rampage chain.

Liddell would have a tough time because Jackson is a wrestler, Liddell was a wrestler and was the captain of his team in High School + he is a world class kick boxer.

Jackson was a state placer, and a much better wrestler than Liddell ever was. I don't know about a world class kickboxer either. He's well rounded and dangerous as long as he's on his feet, but I really don't think he's all people say. Either way, Dan Henderson will dominate either of them. I don't want to see Jackson lose the title so soon, but Henderson is an olympic wrestler and an amazing boxer
