I went to the Rochester buffalo game and it was great. When I went to get tickets for the championship I found out it was in Arizona due to scheduling conflict. checked it out and the circus is why its not in Rochester.???

Hows that for a total lack of confidence in your team, scheduling the circus there instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because rochester's fans are lame they'll make more money having a circus there. i was at the div. championship game at rochester there was only like mabye 6k people there and about 1-2k of those were bandits fans.

If you didn't notice there was a Sabres game in Buffalo that night as well. Same with the first playoff game. Arizona only gets 6K on a good night. The only teams worse for average attendance is Chicago (playing in an arena that only holds about 11K) and San Jose.
Who's fans are lame?
but rochester's arena is small too, it isnt much bigger then Jack gatecliff (st.catharines Jr.B hockey) it's only like 2 thousand more seats.
You would think they might give Rochester the option of putting it in an alternate arena such as Buffalo.

From what I understand, they tried to get it in a "neutral" setting, but the vote was given to Arizona. I feel horrible for Rochester, I would be livid and they would never hear the end of it from me *fans---i suggest you making your anger known more so than you are now*
I'm still rooting for Arizona though. I want the west to win.

The Circus is scheduled out like 2~3 years in advance and is a typical money generating event for whatever arena hosts it. Believe it or not young kids still like to go to the circus.
The vote to play at an alternate site was to play in Toronto. The league voted this down as the league rules state that if the home can't host the game for whatever reason, it defaults to the other team, in this case Arizona.
Should be interesting to see what the turn out is going to be number wise for the Championship, and unfortunately I don't have the clarivoyance enough to see into the future. What ever the number will be, I will be sitting at home watching on VS.

Same thing happened here in the Ottawa Senators - NJ Devils first round games. They couldn't play the Friday night, because the arena had already booked a concert, many many months in advance. There's no way an arena can hold spots open like that for an possibility a team may play there that night. Happens everywhere, although I am surprised that they would reschedule to another night. Unfortunately, it's not like they are trying to fit into network TV scheduling like other sporting events.
