okay so i was driving with a friend and i went 30 on a dirt road. it was a steep uphill and then a steep downhill. as i came up over the crest of the hill i was doing 30, only to hit a bump and have the back tires get in loose gravel. it put my car a little sideways and i over-corrected. overcorrecting caused me to fish-tail like four or five times as i was going down a steep incline. i lost control and went off the road, by this time i was probably doing 40-45 (didnt have pressure on the brake or gas) because if i hit the brakes it would have made it worse. i scraped the left side of my front bumper with one tree, and then nailed the second tree with my right-front tire. the airbags deployed and i am badly bruised and sore. i ended up breaking the frame of my car so its totaled. since i cant afford collision coverage i am now officially screwed. the cop that arrived on the scene said that the seatbelt i was wearing saved my life. here are the pics:

note: i was not under the influence of anything, i had bald rear tires, i got no points off on my liscence test at the DMV.

that sucks. as long as you and your friend are ok that's all that really matters
your insurance is gonna go up though

Wow that sucks man. Glad to see you came out not significantly injured.

Hope you figure something out to help you get around.

That cracked the frame? At the front right I assume but still looks like you could fix that. Maybe I'm just into cars too much. Eitherway glad to see you walked away from that one, hopefully no one goes cheap on tires, only thing attaching your car to the road.

yup it cracked the lower a brace i think its called?
yea i just get headaches constantly since the accident. and a huge bruise on my left shin (on the right side of the bone), all along my shin bone is numb i cant feel a thing.

yea having bald rear tires is what f-ed me over, it didnt help that i have a front wheel drive car...or did have a front wheel drive car.

i bought the car for 1400 bucks and both airbags deployed and they are like 2,000 bucks a piece to get them recharged. so just the airbags would cost more than the car cost me to buy it.
