Man vs Wild is such a good show.

I'm watching it right now, and I've seen it before a lot. But the guy is simply a genius... I mean he knows so much.
This and Mythbusters are the best shows on discovery channel hands down.

I like Survivorman more.

In the show he is actually alone, there isn't a camera crew with him. Instead he brings the camera equipment with him and sets them up in areas with tri-pods.

What trick could it be? Yea, he may have one or two camera guys with him, but that doesn't make it "fake" or have a trick to it. To me, that show wasn't made to really educate people on survival, but more to make it enjoyable to watch. Going by that, i think it's a godd show

i like both shows but one day i sat and watched all the survivor mans because there was a marathon so now i am sick of it and like man vs wild better. PLus Bear Grillz is a great name

hahaha oh rumors...No I am almost positive he is not dead because he has a new series that is supposed to be released soon.

Heresy. Bear Grylls is the man, I don't care if he has a camera crew. I would rather him have a camera crew to get great shots than have mr.survivorman complain about having to lug around all his gear. Seriously next time you watch count how many times he complains about it. It has a few good points, but nothing compared to Man vs. Wild. Plus, Bear is a total BAMF, jumping off cliffs to escape bears, eating dead zebras, cracking a raw egg on his teeth and eating the whole thing, making a dope raft, eating a live salmon, and killing a rabbit with a stick. Seriously people debate me, I dare you. Bear Grylls is the man, and there is no ifs ands or buts about it.

PS: Man vs. Wild, The Deadliest Catch, and Planet Earth are quite possibly the greatest TV series ever to air on Discovery.

Survivorman was the sh**, that guy was cool and its way more realistic than Man v. Wild, survivorman dude was just dropped off in some harsh place and he had to do everything himself he even filmed it all alone...also Bear Grylls does crazy stuff jumpin off crap and rollin down hills

actually yes. there was a point in an episode where he told the camera he had to go down to his sled to get a back up battery, ther for a camera would probably be set up

my science teacher is sooooo funny he works at the discovery channel store so whenever we have free time he brings in all the shows from man vs wild or mythbusters so we get to watch them in school its pretty cool
