Select Teams...Southern NY

Hey..IM pretty sure this is the right place to put this thread..if not w.e.....

I am a freshman in HS and i want to know if there are any good select teams and summer leagues that you guys do...Im not trying to sound concieted but im pretty good i will be starting varsity next year and i want to know some of the good teams you guys play on in the off season like hudson valley teams and summer leagues...but for HS...i live in southern westchester soo any westchester or Hud valley teams would be good...i just need some good teams to play on in teh summer or the off season...THX

Yeah I'm from CT but we play John Jay and Yorktown In CONNY regular season and in the summer I've played some great club teams from Southern NY. I'm pretty sure the tryouts have already been held, but there's an amazing team sponsored and run by Maverik called No Limit Lacrosse. When I played them last summer, the team was almost entirely comprised of Greenwich (CT), Yorktown, John Jay, Mahopac, and Somers kids, and they were sick. The B Team is called the Renegades and most of the kids are from Ridgefield (CT), New Fairfield (CT), Mahopac, JJ, and Yorktown. I know they have U-14 and U-16 teams but I'm almost positive tryouts already happened. Try searching No Limit Lacrosse on Google. Good Luck!

My 8A coach (RJ Rossi) runs a team called North County that also caters to this area. They're good, but not as good as No Limit. I can talk to my coach to get you on the team if you give your word that you're a good player, which you probably are because it says in your profile you go to Iona Prep and you will be starting varsity. If you are that good you could move up an age level to U-17 maybe. There is no tryout for North County, my coach just goes and recruits kids who he knows. I'm not personally playing on the team, but my coach has told me about it. The practices would be in Ridgefield (CT), Danbury (CT), and possibly Yorktown and JJ area. John Jay this year by far the best team in the Hudson Valley. Currently ranked 6th in the nation.

i'll be trying out for The hudson valley empire state team. I have no shot in hell in making it cause my foot was broken all season and my Doctor gave me to Ok to start running yesterday. I'll be very out of shape, but i'll bust my butt and haope for the best.
P.S. it's all politics anyway so the team is pretty much picked already
