I think stx should make a new box head, personally i think they should bring back the power play (but obviously with the flaws taken out so its strong) and correct me if im wrong but isent the heat discountinued? Any ways stx made the heat witch was sick! and the powerplay witch would have been awesome if not so brittle., and i think they should try with a new one. What do you guys think?

I use a heat now, and used a powerplay before that. I love it, so it'd be a shame if it was discontinued. Can anyone else verify this?

they have those rebel bicep pads, the plastic-shell slash guards, and the pure plastic kidney pads. as well as the many cages you can buy.

gait is canadian and all theres heads were made to be playable in box and field, so they designed them to make excellent box heads but they come unpinched for field

they should make an x2 power which is exactly the same as a regular x2 but with a plus two plus signs on it..and it should be able to fit any shaft and not just a crankshaft like the x3

^^^i dont really like using ball stops because my heads are to pinched and the ball doesnt fall out the throat with one( i know most people dont care about the throat but when a balls bouncing right at my body i have a habit of catching it in throat)

Thats exactly why they should do this,everyone loves their illegal sticks. Nobody calls it and most of the time refs dont either.

yea box pinched stuff is cool i live in florida so box specific heads are VERY RARE. but i play in this mini box thing where we play box style no pads indoors. it sort of a simulation but i find it a lot more fun then field. anyways goalie heads are the same right? there aarent box specific heads. Although ive wondered about the gait web it jsut seemed like a box goalie head i dont know why

I think more box lax specific equipment will come out when there is a big market for it. I know in Canada it's huge, and growing in the U.S. so hopefully, the makers will realize the potential and release box equipment.

Redarding the goalie comment, it is the same, they are just field goalie sticks but used for box. eexxceepptt mohawk wood goalie sticks www.mohawkintlacrosse.com you might have heard of mohawk but most people from the us havent since there mostly popular in canada

i agree with you totally, its a pain getting a big enough pot to pinch heads in but luckely my aunt just got my mom a very large pot thats meant for cooking different pasta's and it could easily fit two heads, so i will never have to be frustrated again:thumbsup:

b) everybody loves a different pinch, so there would still be complaints that people want them pinched. if you want a pinch on a new stick, do it yourself or get a friend to do it. It's not that hard.

I am also a box player and everyone loved the heat and powerplay so the whole no ones going to like it because a pinch is personal, thing is wrong. Second of all pinching isnt the only thing that would go into making a box specific head, its all about reinforcement in different ares and it would be stiffer and stuff, and if it comes pinched from the factory it wont be weak like sticks are after you stick them in boiling water.

Im not saying dont pinch your sticks, i always pinch my own sticks im just saying its always nice having box specific gear.

some of us out here cant pinch heads or dont want to go through the trouble.
for example if stx only sold protons, wht would us attack that like really pinched heads do if we can't pinch them ourselves?
