So who is everyone's favorite to win this year's state title?

My team got an automatic qualifier for the tourney so we are in for sure.

I think Zionsville or Noblesville is the favorite.

why would noblesville even be a favorite? they have had a pretty weak schedule all year. but it's pretty much the same as it's always been. the top 4 teams and then pick favorites from there.

id say CMA Carmel Heritage are all tied at the top then ziosville and brebeuf btu we havent playedbrebwuf and in the tourny anyone could beat anyone

Who is going to make it in the bottom, kinda hard to tell, I mean Chatard in? HSE in? What gives? Zville has it wrapped up.

I would not put any money on Noblesville - They have a really easy schedule and have yet to beat anyone that has a winning record. I agree with CClaxer that it will probably be CMA, Carmel, and either HC or Z'ville. After those 4 it looks like there is a pretty good drop off

Anyone think Culver is legit?

Warriorlax, Culver is one of the best teams this year, they are the only unbeaten team in state with a record of 6-0 next is Carmel at 9-1 then Heritage at 7-3 then Zionsville with a record of 7-2. They are the team to beat this year and so far no one has been able to get it done.

Warrior you said your team has an automatic qualifier and you play for Laporte? You must be talking about the NIT Bracket.

I agree with cclaxer. Culver is coming on strong. They have the toughest schedule of anyone in the state, they have done pretty well with that schedule at 12-5, they are undefeated in the state and they have already beat Carmel and HC. They have also beat some very strong out of state teams - Rockhurst

Zville has nice numbers but a pretty fluffy schedule.

Depending on how well Carmel does tonight against BF, my money is says Culver and Carmel in the finals

This is all "talk" because we will find out the real answer in about 2 weeks

I think Culver will win state. Heritage or Zionsville as the runner-up. Chatard for the Consolation prize.

Culver lost to brebeuf??? 2-4 thats a shocker but it still doesn't change anything about them, i still think they're the team to beat this year. What does the tournament seedings look like, i know about laxpowers ratings but is that how they are seeded. Because with this Culver loss i thik their record is now somewhere near 6-1 in state and zionsvilles is about 8-2 so would that put carmel at number 1 with a record of 11-1 in state?
