does anyone no how I can get a maroon colored dye? I havent seen that color made by RIT. Would I just dye one color a little longer or what?

yep my head is part maroon. Uh... i'm not sure if it will be the same when you mix but dye your head sunshine orange first and then go over it with navy.

this does not have to be done. look here for colors: http://www.ritdye.com/Create+Custom+Color.9.lasso
depending on how dark you want it i usually put 2 packs of wine in and then 3/4 or a full pack of dark brown. u can just take your head out and check the color. if its not dark enough.... add more dark brown.

i've done a few maroon dye's for me and kids on my team
get the darkest red you can find, and sprinkle some black in there
not a lot, but just enough to darken it up a little.
it should turn out nice.

i am telling you my way works the best. this it what it will come out to look like: http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=81515 the top of the head is the color it will be... down lower is lighter b/c i did a fade.

okay, i wasn't disagreeing i was just saying that's how i did it.
that does look good though, i might do one of my blades like that...

sorry jake i was not trying to start an argument or anything... i just felt that since that is the way rit says it should be done and it has worked for me that it is probably the best bet for his sake.
