im sorry laxgoalie king i had to try it after seeing yours. i completely agree, great pocket concept. took about a day to actually break in before it had a decent amount of hold. great over all though, cradles around the ball and has a very true release.

AHHHH NO! i hate sidewall! it frays too easily. lol and yea mesh was cut a bit sloppy, but i dont go for looks, it performs great though.

and no i used catapultion for the outside which also made it a bit harder to cut and break in. end result was very nice though

you obviously don't use jima
jima sidewall is VERY abrasive resistant
FAR more resistant than crosslace
if you're talking about the ends just melt them w/a lighter

no i actually do use jima. but i bought there sidewall very long ago, did they change the material? because the sidewall i have from them sucks.

well, the stuff i have from them tends to last a very long time.
using crosslace on a standard mesh pocket tends to last people on my team a season at best, my buddy's revo has jima sidewall in it that has close to 1.5 seasons on it and shows little wear.

maybe you got a bad batch, jima products have never let me down

ok thanks... i might just try ordering another batch of plain white sidewall then... anyone else ever had problems using jima's sidewall?

no no no i didnt say he made it up. he just did a thread with this exact pocket in this exact head lol.

everyone keeps saying i ended it too short, lol i might just put a saddle in there or somethign to make it look nicer

I think it looks good. The cuts on the mesh could be cleaned, but it is good.
