Georgetown Prep and Landon both lose today!

Georgetown Prep and Landon both lost in the semi-finals today. Prep lost to St. Stevens/St. Agnes and Landon lost to bullis. This is the first time since 1993 that Landon And Prep have lost a conference game to anyone but themselves. And as far as I can remember that neither team has been in the finals.

Actually, St. Albans has beaten Prep several times over the years, including at least, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 2002. And there's at least one other time between 96 and 02. During the 80s and early 90s, the top two teams in the league were St. Albans and Landon, not Prep and Landon. It is indeed the first time that neither Prep nor Landon has been in the tournament championship game, but St. Albans and Landon played each other in the first two tournament championship games in 1995 and 1996 (Landon won both times). It was the first time St. Albans has beaten Landon since 1984. It was the first time St. Stephens beat Prep ever. St. Stephens has beaten St. Albans before, but St. Albans pulled off a 7-2 win earlier this season. It's going to be a great game on Saturday.

Saturday. But I believe if St. Albans wins they split with prep.
