The thrid issue of the MDOC newsletter "Stripes" has been posted at:

http://www.uslacrosse.org/mdoc/stripes0507.pdf

It contains a great deal of information that should be of interest to men's lacrosse officials (and possibly to coaches and players as well).

If you are a current US Lacrosse member as an official, you should have received an e-mail with this issue of Stripes. If you are an official member and did not receive this e-mail, please PM me to let me know (also, let me know if you get any other e-mails from USL). Some officials have not been receiving these e-mails, and I'm trying to see if there's any pattern.

Hi LaxRef,
I am a ref from Australia and even though our rules are different in some ways. I thoroughly enjoyed the reverse quiz. Well Done on a great officials newsletter. Met Eric Evans when he was over for the World in Perth. He spoke at the AGM of our National Referees Association outlining "Officiating in the US".
Great Job, Keep up the good work.
Regards

This is really such a great resource - kudos to LaxRef and all of the contributors for putting so much useful information out there for the troops. I sent the following e-mail to all the members of our lax officials association;
Gentlemen,

There is an excellent training resource that has been developed - it is a newsletter called Stripes.

I highly recommend it! You can access all three editions at www.uslacrosse.org/mdoc. The first two are listed as mdocnews with dates of 1/25 and March 1st, along with the latest. Some of you that are registered as officials with US Lacrosse may have already received them.

They are chock-full of really good information, all of which pertains to lacrosse and reffing. Thanks to Harold Buck for putting this product together - it is really outstanding! Read it!
