hey a buddy of mine plays pole and is looking for some new gloves. he is really looking for something cheap, and has some decent protection. flexibility is important too. what gloves would you guys recommend and where can i find them for cheap online?

well i wouldnt say theres any defense-specific gloves, but mac daddys or defts have good flexibility and protection. i have macs, and even a fast shot in the finger will not hurt. i love them so :)

D Guys look for the same things that attack and middies look for in gloves. Any gloves would do. I prefer gloves with a floating wrist cuff, so when I take the ball up the fiel on a clear it wont hurt as much. That is why I use superfreaks

I use macs, though I have to say i like the maverik gloves better. Great flexibility, decent protection.

i find that the Mercury Prostar 2 is a decent glove for playing defense. The fingers move pretty easily, and it doesn't take long to break in. also, they dont heat up while playing. it is also a light weight glove. its not a pricey glove either. i think i got mine for about 40-50$.

I have a pair of 13' navy hypno's if he wants them. Used for about half a season and still look brand new. I'll sell em for 55 shipped
