That's just the extra top holes of the Clutch. Not the wings from the swerve. If you look you can see the cut out between each of the top string holes used so there are 3 places it looks cut out and the swerve only has the one in the center of the head. Clutch.

heres my gripe, look at gary gait, i dont see everyone running around with all his merchandise on, and i kno he has the company but thats more paul than gary, but i dont care what you say gary gait is the greatest,most electrifying, inventive player ever period end of story. altho them er' exoduses are mighty flexible.

Ok, part of the problem is that STX didn't do a good job marketing Gary's line of stuff when the G-Force stuff came out. Plus the G-Force head was not well designed in my opinion. Too pinched and it had those spikes. The gloves did well but were quickly replaced by the I-Pros maybe because STX decided they only wanted 1 top of the line glove, then the arm gaurds were only made in one style that favored attack and while they got good reviews, people just didn't want to spend 100+ for a pad. The shoulder pads...well they were good but shoulder pads just aren't what i think of when I think of signature gear. STX also cut the line quickly, especially after signing Kyle Harrison and coming up with the K18 line. I've heard rumors of a G22 line for Gait's stuff, so we'll find out if that's real and if so just how well STX can market it (because they did a far better job with K18 than with the G-Force).

Anyway, point is Powell's stuff is marketable. Brine has a look they are striving for that is different, and they are pushing it. The Gary Gait G-Force line didn't have a unique feature, it was just designed to be great lacrosse equipment, and it succeeded there. Mikey's stuff goes beyond just being good equipment and has a style attached to it with the MP flair and that has made it more marketable.

More on topic, I really like all the Brine stuff in the MLL. The Kings especially. Can't wait to see some of the other Brine team's stuff. I've never been that into the Warrior gloves and the Superflys certainly aren't changing that for me.

Yeah the Brine stuff is hot in the MLL...I find superflys kind of ugly.And when you think of it its kind of unfair to the players to be FORCED into using a certain line of gear..And as for the G-force line..I have G-force gloves and I use the shoulder pads, best shoulder pads ive ever touched, but I didnt buy them because they had the Gait name on them..

i like how the machine removed the yellow from their uni's. they look fly (above), and more like "tight" and professional. now they look like there not the same team as the pride(or the color scheme at least).
