I have been trying to get the results from today's action at the world indoors and the championship website isn't posting results. Anyone know the results or know where I can get them?

There are no stats available as of yet. Their website hasn't been updated in awhile, still says less than ten days to go. I know that Pointstreak isn't carrying the stats realtime at any rate.

It was 9-7 some time in the 3rd quarter before we ran out of gas. Great first 3 quarters though. Machner stood on his head in the cage for Australia
That's a respectable score for Australia.
Just watched the England-Iroquois game on TV, final score was something like 26-8. England tried to play zone for much of the game but failed miserably. Most of the Iroquois goals came from English defenders leaving their checks or looking the other way, etc. Ratcliff had a tough time because the Nationals keyed on him the entire game and he had no decent righties to unload it to. Clark and Cable looked ok, but what England really needs is some offensive righties to be a little more of a scoring threat to open things up a bit for the talented lefties. The power play looked poor for most of the game because the lefts were so hesitant to pass it across the floor.
Roik had a tough time in net for England, (shot percentage around 60) but Mike Thompson looked very solid for Iroquois. The Iroquois team is very talented from top to bottom and from the looks of it, the US will be in tough against them if they play in the semis.

Erik Miller scored three goals and two assists. I kind of find it strange at that level to see a goalie scoring a hat trick in a game.

My bet is that Eric played on the floor and not in goal this game. He does this quite a bit in our leagues here in Baltimore....

Just curious about any good tilts at the is tournament. Not that any of the teams appear to be carrying a "Goon" but you never know.

Miller was dressed as a goalie, but did not score three goals. This must have been a mistake. Pearl played in goal.

There's no real point in tournament play like this...where there's not too many games, bans can pretty much put you out for the rest of the tourney

and i think this years iroquis team has a chance at upsetting the States and taking second
but nobody is gonna even come close to beating canada at this one

Personally I think the Iroquois over the United States isn't that much of an upset. They have an excellent team that hasn't been tested yet. If the US tries to look past them they are in for a rude awakening.

Oh the shock!
They've already beaten Aus in a warm up game before the tourney and word from the camp is that the english lads are now much more switched on as to what's going on, and with ratcliff on fire and dave leach showing he's no mug at the indoor game...i think its there for england to take by the nuts!
