I have a Primer and I finally got a shaft for it. When I throw, the ball throws tremendously downward. :whyme: :whyme: :whyme: I would like it to throw more ''up''(?).

My shooter placement is from scoop to throat:nothing in first 2 rows, weaved straight in 3rd, skip a row, weaved straight, skip a row, extremely square U. It kind of looks like tis.

Sorry if you can't understand the picture. The squiggles are shooters and diamonds are diamonds. How can I fix this? I only have hockey lace shooters.

Would it have anything to do with the pocket.? I have a low 7/8 ball depth pocket. Please, any help is great. :naughty:

take out the u and loosen the two across shooters

Thats actualy a great way to show your shooter setup, nice.

I laughed when I read the title though.

Try loosening up the shooters. Have the top one be the tightest, the second one a little looser and the U being the loosest. If that doesn't work, take the U out and replace it with a straight.

take out the U and make it another straight. skip a row from the second straight and make the third one, following the pattern.

try either taking the U out and making it a straight shooter, or loosening all of your shooters.

tighten sidewall strings and lossen up the shooters....it may also be your mesh, things that are close to soft mesh tend to throw down

oh and if its throwing down becuase its hitting the plastic on top then tighten the top string

as said above, loosen shooters, experiment with there postions and look into some hard mesh if it isnt already. -Lance

BREAK-IN-TIME......tighten your shooters then break them in...best way is mesh is throwing down :)

It actually has everything to do with the pocket, heads don't just throw down... I'd recommend pictures if possible, tie your top shooter pretty tight, than untie the rest of the shooters and throw against a wall until it gets how u like it, next tie the shooters again being careful not to tighten them much more than you want.

I Have been playing for years and my friends have used my sticks and said they have a ton of whip... but for me they seemed to have almost no whip... then recently I finally started throwing with good form as in hands and elbos above your ears.... and all of a sudden I was throwing into the ground... so the moral of the story is make sure you have proper shooting/passing form... elbos above your ears and away from your body not at your hips...
