how to repocket brine ripper?

well im new to lacrosse and this is my first time picking up a stick. i have a brine ripper (got it from my bro) and the pocket seems really small unlike other players ive seen. is there a way to repocket the brine ripper (with it's standard mesh) so that the pocket is deeper?

I looked at the stickies with tutorials but i dont get what the titles and terms mean.

EDIT: if it matters for the pocket, id want to play attack or middle
