I was talking with my dad about dying my head, and he asked me "What are you going to use to dye it?" I told him "Rit dye." then he said something that made me wonder, and is why I posted this thread "Why not just use spraypaint?" Why is it that we use dye, not spraypaint?

it chips off and looks terrible. the dye is more permanate and you can get better designs with it. there have been a lot of threads on this, just search spray paint

He is very right.

So ignore what your dad said (I have seen parents ruin equipment trying to string/ paint it) and just use RIT dye.

yeah, it's actually the stiffest x2 i've ever used, and i've used like 6 or 7. i'm trying to find a chemical to get it off. goo-gone didn't work, neither did turpintine or nail polish remover

why not just play with it. all of the paint will come off...eventually
plus, it looks like it came out of a game where you just killed tons of people, and that their blood.

Not to mention, I was playing this kid who had his head spray painted gold, and then when his head hit my gloves, gold paint came off and was on my gloves.
