sick new custom (Kiwi Pocket)

Okay, so i was chillin last weekend and came up with this pocket. I have officially dubbed it the Kiwi pocket, since I was watching the "kiwi" video on youtube while stringing it. a little lame, i know, but o well. please post C&C. and now to the PICTURES!

my god that's pretty amazing, fantastic job, only criticism, WHIP THE STRING ENDS!! It just really bugs me when people don't whip the ends of their strings and then they fall apart.

looks very nice. i though the channel was mesh until i clicked the thumb nails. everything looks nice and crisp. i especially like the coils

ya warriorlaxboy youre right, the channel looks off cu of the picture. and tlax, ive already strung 4 more, and sold them for 35 each : )

the hold is okay, could use a little work. ill probably tighten the outside leathers later. its throws PERFECTLY!!!!!!

ya i used sidewall. i string mesh pockets for ppl too, and i dont want to spend the money to buy 2 spools for each color. LETS GO GUYS i need some more C&C. i want to perfect this pocket

theyre a little different though. my x's are wider, for more of a saddle. also, right outside of the X's I have another sidewall-type-thing, and then the coils. they are in fact, different.

it actually has shooters in it. if you look at the top two twists, there is an orange nylon twisted in with it. no other shooters are needed.

You didn't interlock the twists to the sidewall, which I would think would make the pocket a bit less consistent because the twists can move while the ball is thrown. Is it consistent?

ya i didnt interlock for a reason. well i did at first, but what happened was the leather got pushed inward at some places, and not at others, so it actually became more inconsistant. Right now its really consistant. well see how it does after it really breaks in though.

actually it'll be closer to my current RAGE pocket meets an RP so i don't need to ask, but i think if you tinker enough, and figure out how to interlock it properly you'd benefit from it

looks cool but it looks like it could be better if you widend the center chanel about 1/2'' and found a way to add shooters to it

yeah id say shooter because it looks like it would throw lke a new piece of hard mesh without shooters. just really smooth and loose but put shooters and it would be tight. very neat and i like the colors too

No. Technically they are the same pocket. But this one is a lot cleaner and nicer. It also has prettier colors :thumbsup:

uhhhhh how are they the same. i double interlock all my knots, and have another string sunning down the channel. my X's are also wider.

you should use lime green string and brown fuzzy leathers, then it will actually look like a kiwi

lol imight have to do that. ill find a crap head and dye it brown and green, then get a green shaft...... that would be sweet
