one thing i like to do which should always keep you ON ya toes, not litterally but anyways you mirror there stick or jump higher out on the crease watch the ball or just simply rock back in forth in your stance that way your always moving and if they are literally on the crease make your best effort to get in the " grill " cause if your right up on them they panic and take a crappy shot right at your stick .. .

body positioning to make yourself big in net and have you stick match theirs

I did this for awhile.
My cousin.. is a goalie in like CT, I think (hah thats bad that idk.)
And he helped me out.
Don't be afraid to just hit your stick to the ground when going to save the ball.
Just don't break the head in the process.
'Cause if it breaks, and you don't have a back-up.
Well that just sucks.
But don't even blink.. if possible.
Crease shots, are difficult to save.
You need every extra second of eyesight, to help you out.
Even bend your knees a bit.
(Not to a ridiculous amount, like my school's senior goalie does.)

you could even try baiting the shooter to go high by crouching really low and springing up at the last second, or do the opposite for baiting him low, it makes you feel in charge of the situation and keeps your brain on how you will stuff the shooter, and you wont freeze up as much

don't think. just let your concious muscle control fade into the background, and instincs and reflexes will do the rest. at least that's what i do. the only thing that keeps any goalie from making every save is their own thoughts. dispose of those, and let those deep down reflexes take care of all the action.

just relax dude i think the problem is ur mentality
if u tell urself oh the guy is on the crease then u are already syking urself out but go into it like u would a normal shot and allow ur body to do watever it does and trust me ull have a save that u will look back on and be like i dont even know what i did.
its an awesome feeling man and if it helps this is wat i do most of the time
if the guy is coming towards me i always kind of smile cause i nwo my reflexes will take care of me and i subconscience think about how awesome the save is gonna be
then i make the save
if u think u can do it u can

that is so true. the most important/hardest part about being a goalie is the mental part. nothings more important. you have to be mentally strong, more then anything if youre going to play goalie

i just go and hit the guys stick. if he's open and the pass is going to him i run out and hit his stick so he drops it. it's not that smart but it works. i play attack tho i'm just backup up goalie so i'm good at handling the ball

the easiest thing to do is set into him, not hitting him jus to cut down his shooting angle. At that poiunt he will have net anywhere you are but if you are a little closer he will gett jammed if he moves his stick a certain way. also, focus on his top hand. try to punch your top habd to his. as far as the high low, stand tall and expect bounce. that way you're ready if it happens and you fill the goal if it doesnt
