im thinking about not using cleats next season any one ells not use cleats

If you are going to use cleats, get NON metal ones. The metal ones give you too much grip to the ground + feels awkward sometimes because many of the fields I play on, the crease is all dirt.

I did not use cleats last year and I did fine. But I was the type of goalie who stayed in my crease. If you like to go out or run it up, deffinetly use cleats.

I was also thinking about getting baseball shoes cus they have more traction then running shoes

I wear molded rubber cleats. They provide enough traction so i can make hard steps to the ball and run it up if need be, but not so much that they become a nuissance and grab ahold of the ground. If you were to just wear shoes, get something that has a thicker toe than most running shoes' mesh toes. As far as baseball shoes go, stay away from the baseball spikes (illegal in lacrosse).

I use cleats. Not that I'm running to need them.
But they're rubber.
Plus it's easier for me.
I dig a line in the center-ish of the goal line.
So I know where center is to position myself.
Makes my ability of keeping in the center of the goal easier.
But yeah, cleats are good.

I prefer cleats over shoes. I like the molded rubber kind. I also like to get agressive on clears.

Anyways, I use cleats cause I sometimes like to run it, but mine right now suck.
