Hi my coach decided to put me face off man because when we set up our defence im in the middle helping the double team. Now what are good techniques to winning faceoffs. ex: standing up, one leg down,both knees ect. thanks

well in our league we have to put one knee down, but the best thing is too put ur top hand right under the neck, u will have more power and strengh to win, also helps if ya got a stiff head

What ruleset do you use for that? And heads really don't matter in CLA faceoffs, since they wont warp or take much pressure

well the guy who runs it is retarded and has some of his own rules and were under ontario lacrosse association, cuz our heads bend like crazy during faceoffs

try and sweep or trap as much as possible while still pulling back.. not much help but its the only real cheating you can do on a faceoff

Going to be honest with you here, slinky. It is hard to understand your tutorial...especially for someone older who doesn't know the lingo. I think it might require pictures.
Try standing, most people will disagree but i find that it helps if you win the draw people you get a jump on the guy with his knee down.

yes, you can take it left/right with any grip as long as you dont touch ball or plastic
