Anyone have personal remedies or know how to get the rancid stench out of my pads? (gloves specifically)

if you have a pool throw all your pads in there and let them soak for an hour or so...then take them out and hang them to dry outside....im doing this as we speak and the stench is gone out of all my gear

The pool idea sounds good. The pool is being shock treated right now but i'll soak them int he hot tub on full blast for about an hour - that should do the trick

my cleats make literally my entire (3 car) garage stink. the only thing that works for me is febreeze, but that doesnt help enough

dont do this for gloves but for arm pads, a little dishwashing soap while soaking in hot water, leave out to dry. For gloves, i leave mine outside for a week, in a place they cant get wet, then get some dryer sheets, (little sheets you throw in the dryer for smell), put them in the gloves or cleats or helmet or watver, and put them in front of a fan. You wont have any smell after that

febreeze them till there wet and then put them out in the sun for a little bit to dry. worked pretty well for me.

just use a washing machine, its easy and low maintenance. just dont leave it in the dryer for to long or the plastic will get soft and deformed.
