Here's just a poll to see what people will think is going to happen tomorrow in the Tournament's grand finale.
The Poll will end tomorrow

John's Hopkins doesn't consistently come out with all their effort. They are a good team, but I feel that Duke is on another level.
Duke wins by at least 5.

I think duke will get a big early lead and then in the 3rd/4th quarter JHU will come back and it will be anyones game just like the duke V cornell game.(but in the end i want duke)

i think after what duke did yesterday, there is no stopping them. i hope at least its a close game. just imagine if they did the seedings right and duke and cornell meet tomorow instead of yesterday and they had the same result. that wouldve been a sweet championship game

no, i think you mean no stopping zack greer. i mean, wow. the only way jhu could really win is if they shut down danowski. greer isnt as big a threat without danowski. also, danowski is better from like 8 yards compared to greer, so your knocking out their best feeder, one of the best ball handlers, and also one of their best finishers. if you take him out theyll have to rely on max quinzani and greer. if they dont get rid of danowski, theyll probably lock someone on greer like umass's sean kryger had to do against athan ianucci in last years hofstra umass game.

As a big insidelacrosse.com fan, I'm incredibly disappointed in Philip Caulfield's article about the game. I'm hoping (assuming?) he wrote the article on a volunteer basis... If not, he should give the money back. First of all, all credit to Duke for their win... the game was an instant classic. The article simply did not do it justice. Caulfield's acount of "... Douglas fumbled the ensuing clear" when discussing the final moments of the game leading to Cornell's tying goal, was horribly inaccurate and just lazy. What happened was this: through sheer determination, grit, and heart, the Cornell defenders tenaciously stripped the ball and simply wouldn't allow the clear. The Big Red was going down swinging! Douglas didn't fumble the ball! It was stripped by the tenacious attack of the Cornellians. And Caulfield loses the excitement of the comeback... being down 10-3 against the #1 seed (that's a whole other story) and then coming back to tie the game with 17 seconds left... it was thrilling! And there's no mention of how exciting that comeback was. What a letdown! I logged on this morning, excited to read the account of the game that I had seen in person the afternoon before. What a disappointment that other fans who didn't get to see the game didn't get a true account of just how thrilling this game was. The game was a classic; the article about it a dud. Again, all credit to Duke; they earned their scholarships on Saturday. Must be nice to be able to pay your players. The Big Red had a great year, and they should be given the respect they have earned. Hats off to Coach Tambroni for being one of the greatest leaders and coaches in lacrosse and to his players. The Cornellians are a classy bunch and they went down fighting until the very end! (p.s. The referee with the knee brace should have had a brain brace. I don't know what game he was watching; he just sucked.)

You're forgetting about the Duke middies, they aren't too shabby. Even if they limit danowski, others can step up and score. I think Duke's D and goalie play is going to be too much for Hopkins to handle

i'd just like to see Duke win this one just from the fact of all the adversity that the entire program has had to go through over the year. it would make the team feel vindicated in a way.

I still feel that many people are siding with duke and underestimating Hopkins. Overall hopkins is still strong and pretty deep and have many guys who can finish shots. They also have a pretty strong defense as well. The game would probrably revolve around who can set the pace early on. A lot of people are underestimating JHU after the game against UDel since it paled in comparison to the action and level of play of the Duke Cornell game. Yes Duke played fantastically, arguably on of the best games ever, but I think some people may be overestimating Duke and underestimating JHU.
I feel it will be a competitive game, both ways.

Hopkins looked like they were missing something the other day. Guys looked tired, lazy, not a lot of movement (with or without the ball), just didn't seem like they went that hard or acted like past Hopkins teams. Although maybe they'll be bringing it all tomorrow. I sure hope so, since I voted Duke and can easily seem them "leaving it all on the field". I want to see a great game like Cornell/Duke. I know hopkins can do great, but will they do it tomorrow?

I'm thinking and pulling for Duke. However as of late, JHU has been playing amazing.
Duke does want it more though.

i cant beleive john danowski didnt give the ball to matt at the end of the game. even if he had been shut down the whole game he still shouldve given the ball to him. hes one of the best attackmen ever. paul rabil was a beast and i think shouldve won mvp even though shwartzman had a ridicolous game.
