NEW Goalie

Well i'm on jv this year and I play attack and d. But the thing is are varsity team is made up of entirely seniors and the two goalies for varsity are seniors the thing is are starting goalie is leaving to Texas and are back up sucks. The entire jv team and the varsity (that aren't seniors) are telling me to play goalie should I do it or what

well, do you like goalie? have you played it before?
I had the same thing this year but it was different cuz our 2 goalies quit and everyone wanted me to play cause the other 2 who wanted to play, one of them never even played lacrosse, the other is a freshman. so i tried and turned out to be pretty good.
if you like it and your team thinks your good then I say give a try cause its a lot of fun.

well I havent played goalie before and it looks like fun. Im not afraid of getting hit by the ball its just i like being out on the field with a L-pole or shorty.

my best advice then is just to try it, if your season is still on then try it at a practice or just get w/ a few friends and see how it is being shot at and all that and if you like it and you think your got a good chance at it then do it
