I am currently in the process of buying a Gait Sentinal and I wanted your guys' input on how important the size of the stopping area is on a goalie head.

I'm aware that the Sentinal does not have the stopping area of a Nemesis or an Eclipse, but is it noticably smaller?

Will it affect my save percentage?

Unless you are making saves just barely (catching it 1/2in. next to the plastic), then no. It won't affect your save percentage.

the only yhing that will affect your pct is your skill. the stick your using shouldnt make a difference between a save and a goal, thats your own skill that will dictate if it is or isnt.

Thats what I figured. I just needed to hear it.

the sentinal is barely narrower than my eclipse but it is taller so it does make five hole shots seem a bit easier to save with the longer head, but the size difference really wont do anything also the sentinal is by far the lighest head and it is noticebly lighter so you feel alot quicker and less fatigued late in games

Thanks for the input, its great to hear from someone who has both. I can definitely relate because I have an Eclipse too.

Cant wait for the Sentinal to get here.
