Hey guys,
i just switched to an attack shaft after multiple times of getting it caught in the top of the net going for an off hip save or having the end of the shaft getting caught on something. so far I LOVE IT!
it feels quicker, lighter and doesnt get in the way on the end nearly as much. the only real disadvantages i can think of that could be a problem is not being able to clear as far as easily due to the less leverage ill get on it. anybody else here use attack shafts? and if so what kind.
i just got the warrior dealbreaker and so far i really like it. plus i only traded a mojo head for it!

yeah i do i use klyte or something like it, but i never have to make very long passes the way my teams clear is set up, and running down the field with it is alot easier

well, ill admit that the full 40" on a goalie shaft is a little too much, but i find attack shafts to short to use. the balance is thrown off and clears are reduced too.
i usually cut my goalie shafts down to 35" so theyre more mobile and alot lighter. its also a lot easier to bring it down the field and doesnt get caught up like you mentioned.

A/m length K-pro here. I do miss the longer clears, but I like the feel of the stick/head balance a little more. Might go to 35'' though. For the stick getting caught in the net thing, you could just bring your bottom hand out a little, but that could be akward.
Btw, the Dealbreaker for a Mojo is a sweet deal.

Yeah, I don't want to go all the way down to an attack shaft. I just bought the goalie shaft then cut it down shorter like solstice said. It is still really menuverable and works really well. Although it isn't as light weight as an attack shaft, it is better in my opinion. I like to run up the field and make those far throws. This makes it an easier task.

attack shafts are so much easier to use in goalie my old stick kept getting caught in the net. but with an attack shaft it is also better if you like running up the field.

attack shafts are incredibly easy to use, but a better option is getting a goalie shaft or a longer shaft and then cutting it down inch by inch until you find a shorter length that doesnt impede you at all.

i need to be able to clear...the regular attack size is too short for me still, im in need of a 35-36.5 incher...
