How do I customize Windows Vista?

Can anybody point me to some forums or something on how to do this? All I've got so far are some fancy icons, but I really wanna jazz it up. And don't gimme crap about Vista sucking, I don't mind it, and my parents bought me the computer for college, so it's not like I am going to tell them to return it, especially when everybody will have to switch eventually anyways.

I wanted to do something like WindowBlinds, but that costs money. I wanted some new cursors as well, but can't find any for Vista, only XP.
