My brother showed me this video of Microsoft Surface. Its a touch screen table.This thing is so cool. Its sought of like that screen from the movie Minority Report. Its a little out of my price range though.

Yeah I've seen that. Starting price is around 10k.

I don't think I'd want it anyway. The technology just isn't there yet. Touch screen things never work well, they lag and you have to re-calibrate them and it just gets annoying. Maybe in a few years when the technology develops a little bit more it will be an awesome invention.

Did you watch the video? It didn't seem to have any faults as Gates and that guy worked with it... I think it's sweet as hell.

I watched the video, I just don't trust those kind of things, especially when they were playing tic-tac-toe it looked like it lagged a bit. I want something that detencts you finger as it touches the screen, not a split second after.

you can tell that it is not ready for mass production yet, but it is a really cool idea. the thing with the camera was really cool too.

This thing has to be one of the coolest pieces of technology I've seen. Hopefully prices will eventually drop so consumers can buy them but until then I think these will be really cool to use and restaraunts and hotels.

I think the coolest thing is when you put a camera on the table and it gets the pictures automatically. One of the things the Surface does is when you place a piece of paper on the screen, it scans it and converts the writing to a word document and you can save it. I love the Ripple affect when Gates is flicking the pond.

That is easily the coolest thing I've ever seen. I think that'd be sweet to have around the house.
