Update to the 2007 Founders Cup:
While the details are still being worked out, it appears that this years Founders Cup will become the truest National Championship to date. The interest and applications to this years event have become the most in Founders history and unfortunately, teams were turned away. As it sounds right now, the CLA and all MA will be meeting to figure out who will be sending teams and what teams they will be. It sounds like MA's with multiple teams will be setting a citeria based on seasonal performance and placing within their province.
We have increased our tournament capacity to 12 teams. The breakdown of MA's is as follows based on current applications:
BC - host (Kamloops)
BC - 2 teams
AB - 2 teams
SK - 2 teams
MB - 1 team
ON - 1 team
ILA - 1 team
QC - 1 team
NS - 1 team
Actual teams or club names is still up in the air as each MA will be selecting their representatives through their own internal process.

why does bc have 3 ab have 2 and sk have 2 and on has 1.. not to put down the other provinces but is the skill level of ontario has always been better than any other provinces other than bc so shouldnt bc just send one more team ontop of the host to the tourney and then send 2 from ontario?.. i could be wrong but that seems like the smartest of all plans

their are different tiers in saksk. and alberta i assume that would be the reason. and if Ontario sent 2 that would make the OLA final pointless, since both teams woulod be going anyway.

we did have a jr. b tier 1 and 2 in sask last year but went away from that this year, so we are basically sending our prov. champ. team and an RMLL team based out of Saskatoon i would think
