The sidewalls are loose and messed up. Where are your shooters? Use ORANGE's Giant Mesh Pocket Tutorial on the tutorial list and it might come out better.

edit: oh didnt see the part bout shooters my bad.

That is a nice low pocket, but definitely tighten up the sidewalls. Otherwise not too bad for a first timer.

you can use pliers... and I am not a big fan of interocking sidewalls but whatever works for you.

it looks good. i like the interlocking sidewalls. the thing is you gutta pound the pocket threw out the whole stick. not just where you want the pocket. oviously more where you want the pocket to sit but to me it looks like its gunna throw straight in the air

Looks pretty nice. wet it and pound and before it dries also tighten the strings up, gradually work your way down from the top of the head

Ask laxn for his unapproved tutorial. It will help alot on how to get your sidewalls tighter.

yea, i really dont know y people post mesh. mesh is mesh is mesh, ive strung so many and i cant think of one that i think is outstanding or really all the unique. you kinda messed up on the sidewalls, and its not really unique at all, just kinda generic, but its ur first one, ull get better.

try not doing the sidewalls like a retard. the string between the loops in the sidewall is what goes through the holes in the mesh. ill try to upload pics from my helix in case u dont get it.

well that was nice...

"try not doing the sidewalls like a retard"

hey man, it's not bad for your first time. i'm not gonna be a prick, but i'm not gonna say its the best i ever saw.

first of all lets go over the good things. you seemed to string a great topstring for your first time.

problems are... you need to STRETCH YOUR MESH... before i string hardmesh i stretch for up to an hour... pick a row, and take two knives... put the two knives through the first and the tenth diamond on that row then pull them apart as hard as you can. then move down a row. just keep going until your mesh is like 6-8 inches wide or so... stretch till you cant stretch no more.

also you need to work on sidewalls. i didnt try interlocking for a while... so maybe just try straight up sidewalls. double up a little more. see of you can get a bag in that beast.

all in all, it's pretty good for your first time. i'm not a fan of it, but then again i'm not a fan of many low pockets... mids and highs are where i like to be.

but good job... welcome to stringing. Practice Makes Perfect.

you do the scoop kinda weird there are many better ways then that. chech out how warrior strings their heads. thats what i do and i string like all my friends sticks. if you try it let me know how it goes.

does anyone realize that hes using the wrong mesh holes or is it just me..

edit- it just looks like that in those 2 side view pictures.
