I was going to re-string my evo pro and I was wondering if there is such thing as 4d mesh. If there is such thing post your pics of it.

Well 5d has a row of 5 diamonds then a row of 4 diamonds and keeps on going like that. So try that.

you could cut down some 5d and maybe string a corner pocketish sort of thing
that might defeat your intended puposes though

4 diamond would be huge. It would have a really slow shot speed too.

it would have a slow shot speed but it would probably have sick hold
the ball might even fall through it sometimes (exagerating)

4 diamond rows and 3 diamond rowed mesh doesnt seem like a great idea. the pocket will look so odd. the huge holes would look disgusting.

That would be close to impossible to get a decent pocket out of. Maybe on a head with lots of holes like a torque, but not on anything else.

that would be hideous, the pocket would be like a giant rectangle

No one is making fun of him for not knowing whether there is 4D or anything...they are just saying their opinion of what 4D would be like. Saying that 4D would look hideous isn't a personal insult unless he said that he was going to invent it, or something related to him.

Imagine the shooters...so sloppy. It would probably have sick hold though. I would buy some if someone did make it just to try it out.

Well a lot of people like to identify mesh by it's odd number row, so 5 diamond has a row of 5 diamond followed by a row of 4 diamond, as it keeps repeating. So technically 5 diamond is 4 diamond.

See count the rows there.

it's not just now...that's the correct way to identify mesh. it's because that's the row with the most diamonds. it's like if you took 10d mesh and called it 9d mesh because there is a row of 9 diamonds.

there actually is 4D, our assistant coach has some on a stick he barely uses, it's awful looking and throws horribly in my opinion, plus it's really soft
